There's only one ripping tutorial there, well two if you count GGD.
The easiest way to get started is with roms and emulators. (If you're not familiar, the emulator is a program that runs on your PC and "emulates" a game console, the roms are just games for that console in a file format the emulator can read.) Many emulators have features for sprite ripping. For example you might be able to turn off the background layers, or pause the game and advance the action one frame at a time. If you rip from an emulator you need to take screenshots. You can hit the Prnt-Scrn key on your keyboard or use Animget (available on the SDB downloads page.) Pretty much anyone can do this and that's why I say it's a good way to get started. For a more advanced method, you can use tile viewing programs like Tile Molestor, GGD, etc. to try to view the graphics data directly from a rom file. Not really my area of expertise but depending on the game it can be easy or extremely difficult. One of my favorite pages on the internet, read all of this: http://randomhoohaas.flyingomelette.com/...prites.htm Also if you could tell us what specific game or system you're interested I could point you in the right direction.

Well, what do you need help in?
Ripping? There is a tutorial and Grim already explained. ROMs? We can't provide them for you because it is illegal. Emulator? Google that you will find it in no time. Specify what you need help in please.

GBA Ripping using the OAM Viewer
OAM Viewer - Used to view sprites on screen. Ctrl + P - Used to pause the the emulation. Ctrl + N - Used to move forward one frame. Step 1: Start up your game. Step 2: When using your desired animation, press Ctrl+P to pause the emulation. Step 3: Select Tools > OAM Viewer. Step 4: OAM Viewer will open up like so. Step 5: Scroll through the sprites using the arrows or bar and print screen each piece. Step 6: Assemble the pieces and TADAH! Step 7: Press Ctrl + N to move ahead one frame and repeat.
